Sam is a graduate process engineer, with experience in a range of projects including technical document preparation, options and scoping assessments, data analysis and technical drawings.

Sam has contributed in the preparation of audit summary reports, conference papers, process reviews, council policies and water quality data analysis. He has prepared an Operators Handbook for chemical dosing and water treatment plant troubleshooting, with work on this project including the development of process overviews, operator monitoring guidelines, water quality incident response summaries and troubleshooting guidelines for common WTP process issues.

Sam has had brief experience working alongside engineers and operators at recycled water, water and sewage treatment plants with regional NSW councils and most recently at the Sydney Desalination Plant assisting with recommissioning testing and documentation.

Sam has a keen interest in statistics and data analytics and the ways in which these can be incorporated into the water industry for process optimisation and water systems planning. He also has a strong interest in the future of recycled water systems and integrated water cycle management.
