How will you get involved?
As part of our Engineering team, you will bring along your previous consulting design experience or relevant industry experience and join us to consult on all aspects of water and recycled water systems. We assist government and private sector clients across Eastern Australia. Working collaboratively with others, you will contribute or co-ordinate the technical aspects of projects and manage workflows and budgets.
What are we looking for?
With your degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering and up to 4 years’ experience ideally within the local water industry, you are keen for the next challenge in your career. We would also consider a new graduate with significant intern experience. You will be used to managing project work with minimal supervision, and be able to undertake:
- Investigations, options analysis and concept designs for drinking water and recycled water
- Contribution to the technical aspects of projects and project bids with assistance and input from other staff
- Meeting targets for billability, company profitability and proposal success
- Enhancing and maintaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities for possible future work
Key skills and attributes required:
- Excellent report writing & computer skills (CAD desirable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an aptitude for working directly with clients, running workshops and other meetings
- Creative problem solving, focusing on quality, time management and attention to detail
- Strong team ethic plus ability to be a self-starter
- Availability to travel locally and interstate when required
- Legal right to work in Australia
