CWT has been assisting the water and wastewater industry evolve to meet ever more stringent standards for reliable, high-quality drinking water, effluent and recycled water for over 30 years.
On 19th April 1990, Bruce Murray established B&S Murray with his wife Sandra, having already worked as an engineer for 9 years mainly focusing on research in the water industry. Early consultancy work was mostly for Hunter Water and Sydney Water Corporations and included investigative pilot plant work into new water treatment systems for Prospect, Appin and the Illawarra and optimisation of various water treatment plants in the Hunter. In 1992 B&S Murray merged with Browning Technology (Richard Browning) to form City Water Technology.
Now in 2020 and CWT is a group of 23 engineers, scientists and finance/administrators that work on treatment processes and water wastewater and recycled water systems. CWT links with other consultancies and sub-contractors to cover disciplines such as electrical, control and civil engineering.
