Bruce has successfully led, directed and expanded City Water Technology Pty Ltd since its inception in 1990 and is a recognised water treatment expert.

Bruce has over 40 years of experience and is renowned in his field as a water and wastewater treatment specialist having undertaken projects not only across Australia, but in New Zealand and Asia.

He has co-authored several notable publications including the Good Practice Guide to the Operation of Drinking Water Supply Systems (WRA/WSAA; 2015), the Manual for the Application of Health-Based Targets (WSAA; 2015) as well as provided technical content for the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (2011).

Bruce has extensive experience in the water, wastewater, industrial and recycled water space which includes being a key player in award winning work for the Concept Design of Launders Shute WTP and pilot plant work for Prospect WTP. His expertise lies in the application and integration of treatment processes for the development of new plants and upgrade of existing plant.

For over 40 years, he has refined and evolved these processes through research, first hand investigations and client and community consultation. He has been involved in all aspects of treatment plant process design and risk management and continues to be an influential and recognised player in his field.
