Sarah is a water industry professional with extensive experience across utilities, government, and research. She excels in water quality and risk management, managing and improving drinking water and recycled water systems in accordance with Australian guidelines. Sarah is an Exemplar Global certified Lead Auditor for Water Quality Management Systems.
Her strength lies in engaging stakeholders at all levels and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights. This skill in bridging communication gaps and synthesizing information greatly enhances her impact in the industry.
Sarah has a strong background in water quality management plans, developing and reviewing risk-based monitoring programs, executing and implementing internal audits, management of change processes, and creating frameworks for regulatory compliance.
In addition to her technical expertise, Sarah has substantial experience in incident management, having developed protocols and rapid assessment tools for water quality issues. Her operational projects also include optimizing disinfection strategies and integrating reservoirs into critical control programs.
Sarah also contributes to the industry as the AWA Water Quality specialist network co-chair and was recognized as Qld Young Water Professional of the Year in 2013.
